Spiritual Care
At Grandview Medical Center, we’re dedicated to caring for the entire patient - body and soul. Chaplains represent a variety of faiths and are available 24/7 for prayer and support. Each chaplain at Grandview has completed at least one year of clinical residency training in clinical pastoral education.
The pastoral care team is located on the 5th floor near our dedicated intensive care units to provide support to patient and families needing spiritual and decision support. Facing an end of life diagnosis or decision is a difficult time. Two-thirds of the pastoral staff has advanced training in hospice, palliative care or advanced illness management to support patients and families in need.
